| We dream of a world in which
all beings are free from human violence. In the US alone, the animal agriculture industry imprisons, enslaves, mutilates, violates and kills billions of animals in myriad unthinkable ways each year. The single most important thing we can all do to combat these atrocities is simple: Go Vegan! Several organizations provide further information on the why's and how's of veganism. In addition to educating consumers about their food choices and creating lots of yummy animal-free foods, we are able to offer sanctuary to abused, abandoned and neglected animals at our Bleating Hearts Animal Sanctuary. Many are victims of industries that exploit animals. The current residents include chickens, turkeys, goats, rabbits, geese, ducks, sheep and llamas. |
